    Oddbox Films is the legacy of a previous production company named Splizard Films and over the last 10 years the talent behind Oddbox has created 4 short films and one feature documentary.  Combined, the films have won 10 awards at film festivals throughout the world.  Most notably, the Best Documentary & Audience Award at the 2011 Slamdance Film Festival.  Currently in development are 3 narrative feature scripts.

  • Bhopali is a feature documentary about the survivors of the world’s worst industrial disaster, the 1984 Union Carbide gas leak in Bhopal, India. Today the suffering continues, prompting victims to fight for justice against Union Carbide, the American corporation responsible for the disaster.  Directed, Edited, and Cinematography by Van Maximilian Carlson.  Produced by Kirk Palayan.
